The Karhunkierros Trail is Finland’s most famous hiking trail. It runs mainly through the Oulanka National Park in Salla and Kuusamo. Karhunkierros Visitor Centre Ltd maintains two important bases for hikers along the route. The Arctic Circle Caf\u00e9 and Karhunkierros Visitor Centre<\/a> located\u00a0 on the Arctic Circle in Hautaj\u00e4rvi, Salla, is the official northern starting point of the entire Karhunkierros Trail. Basecamp Oulanka <\/a>in Myllykoski, Kuusamo, the southernmost point of Oulanka National Park, along the Little Karhunkierros Trail<\/a>, is for many the culmination of the hike.<\/h5>\n
